Biography

Singer and songwriter on the French and international scene for more than 20 years.

Mainly influenced by soul and Anglo-Saxon pop of the 80s, Maeva Borzakian grew up in Paris in a family of jazz musicians.

She is self-taught but has been singing on the French and international scene for more than 20 years with various groups and musical projects.

In 2017 she released her first EP “ day by day » that she writes and composes with Gael Benyamin And ATwhat Geyster.

In 2018 the Spanish label Happy & Sounding
contact her to participate in the project of the great Finnish composer, arranger and producer tomi Malm. Maeva Borzakian wrote the song " Tourbillon de Vie " which will be on this artist's album.
It will be released in October 2020 where big names in music will also appear there such as Vinnie Collaiuta Steve Lukather And Simon Phillips relayed around the world and even on the Pvine label in Japan.

In parallel in 2019 Maeva Borzakian joined the group Cortex with Alain Mion known worldwide for having been sampled by the biggest American rappers. She will do with them several big Sold Out scenes including the New Morning from Paris as well as in Monaco and then in Switzerland.

At the end of 2020 a Swiss acquaintance Julien Comeli tells her about the music producer and composer Philip Magoo who specializes in a music that she particularly likes: 80s funk!

This music is a great source of inspiration for her. She contacts him and the alchemy operates. It will be born from this collaboration their first single in June 2021: "Feel the love" in original version with 2 remixes including one by the DJ S and the other by Joe Maggione signed by the label Soulrise Records which will be a revelation for her.

This is how she decided, after this title, to ask Philip Maggoo to produce her new album.

At the same time she encounters great family difficulties, accumulated stress and a job that makes her very fragile
In June 2021, she had an AIT (mini stroke) without sequelae.

In 2022, Maeva Borzakian begins a major tour of the USA in NYC and Los Angeles.

After the USA and several tours in Asia and Europe,

Weakened by health problems, music saved her life and she managed to turn these difficulties into a strength. This is how the album project "lovin' truth" see the day.

These ordeals allowed her to put down on paper everything she had experienced and realize that she is very much alive and that it is now that we must live and that we must never put off until later what we can do today.

Maeva Borzakian release their new album Lovin' Truth " co-composed and co-written with Philippe Magoo recognized music producer in the business.

Maeva's universe is a sweet mix of tangy pop tinged with soul, with a very recognizable voice.

Since April 24, 2023, she has the pleasure of making you discover this new album " lovin truth which is even more personal to her than the first.
